Remodeling of a duplex village row home

The duplex is located near Geneva, with ideal views of the lake, mountains and surrounding vineyards.

The challenge of this project was to bring light into the very dark upper floors of this row home. By knocking out interior walls, we were able to create a large living space brings light in from both ends of the row home and provide more dynamic views of the outside. A mezzanine provides additional dimension and gives an extra room in this open space that benefits from the light. We created a habitable attic space and used skylights to bring in additional light.
